Bent Productions was founded in 2023 with a mission to bring whimsical and transformative experiences to Denver’s performing arts scene. At Bent Productions, we believe the silly goose and the golden goose are, in fact, the same goose. We believe that queer joy is the most fun joy. But above all, we believe that local independent artists are the core of a city’s vibe, growth, and cool factor.
Bender Flames is the founder, CEO, and only employee of Bent Productions. Bender has been gracing stages and snatching spotlights since being cast as “the loud mouse” in the holiday classic The Nutcracker at age 9. While only a mouse sometimes, he is still very loud all the time. Nowdays, Bender finds himself in a whole mess of situations ranging from hosting burlesque shows, roaming as a clown, and in a few cases, writing and producing burlesque musicals.

Lessons are learned, dreams are crushed, and tassels are twirled as we follow this icon of page and screen on a mission to not just survive the grown up world, but also find his passion in the process.
Burning Loins

Burning Loins Boylesque is the creative child of Bent Productions and Indy Fire. Debuting in 2015 at a punk rock dive bar in Denver, CO, Burning Loins soon became the darlings of Denver nightlife. They have performed in burlesque festivals all over the world including: Colorado Burlesque Festival, Show Me Burlesque Festival, A-Burly-Que Burlesque Festival, Seattle Boylesque Festival, Minneapolis Burlesque Festival, Vienna Boylesque Festival, and probably a few more that have lost our minds.
